Army Explosives Expert Killed on Final Day in Afghanistan

Staff Sergeant Olaf Sean George Schmid, 30, died instantly on Saturday while attempting to make an improvised explosive device safe in the Sangin region of Helmand province, the Ministry of Defence said.
